Terms of Service
The agreement that comes with a Divi Love licence: what may be done with the software, what is paid for it, and where each side's risk stops.

01Licence and permitted use
When you obtain Divi Connect we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on the number of sites included in your plan, for as long as your licence is active. Client sites count as your sites for this purpose. You may not resell or sub-license the Professional version, and you may not share, transfer or pass on your licence key. You may include the free version of Divi Connect, which we publish as a free download for anyone, in a site or layout you build or sell; a client who wants the Professional features, or who wants to keep building with an AI assistant of their own, needs a licence of their own.
If a licence lapses, the plugin keeps working and everything you have already built stays exactly as it is. Divi Connect writes standard Divi 5, and your colours, text sizes and styles are saved into Divi’s own settings rather than held inside our plugin — so your pages and your styling alike keep working, and stay editable in the builder, whether or not Divi Connect is licensed, active, or even installed. What stops is access to Professional features and to updates.
02Accounts
Your licence key and your connector key are yours to look after. The connector key gives whoever holds it the same reach over your site that you have, so treat it as a password. If one leaks, regenerate it from the plugin's Connection tab; the old one stops working immediately.
Accounts and licences are managed by Freemius. Transferring a licence between people is handled through them.
03Payment and renewal
Paid plans are sold and processed by our payments partner Freemius, who are the merchant of record. They take the payment and are responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax, VAT or GST. Prices and plan details are shown at checkout. Buying from this website charges you immediately; a trial, where offered, is presented when you upgrade from inside the free plugin.
A trial may require a payment method and converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. Yearly plans renew automatically so your licence and updates continue; you can cancel at any time before a renewal to stop the next charge. The lifetime licence is a one-time purchase and never renews. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the products — including attempting to bypass licensing, disrupt the service, or use them for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you create and publish using our tools.
Divi Connect acts on the site you connect it to. Do not point it at a site you do not control or have permission to change.
05Intellectual property
The Divi Love name, branding, website and the Divi Connect software are our property or our licensors'. The design-system packs and presets shipped with the plugin are licensed to you for use on the sites your licence covers, as part of the plugin.
The Divi 5 Skill is published separately as open source under the MIT licence.
Divi is a registered trademark of Elegant Themes, Inc. Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini and other AI product names are trademarks of their respective owners. We are independent of all of them, and use those names only to say what our product works with.
06Warranty disclaimer
Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that they will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use them at your own risk.

07Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divi Love is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the products. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

08Termination
You may stop using the products at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, the disclaimers and the liability limit — continue to apply.
Ending a licence does not touch the sites you have built. Their content stays yours and stays in your WordPress install.
09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its updated date. Continuing to use the products after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
